Our story...
On a mountainside in Helena Montana, we built a house in 2001 and brought home our first Cavalier King Charles Spaniel. We had owned many dogs over the years but nothing like Nordictouch Wild Rose had ever been a part of our lives before. She was a wonderful Cavalier who inspired a long-denied but strong desire in me to get into the hobby of pure-bred dogs and dog showing. Every Cavalier since has been a part of my ring training and a step closer to being the breeder/handler of a top notch Cavalier.
Sometimes I will have Artistree puppies for sale from a litter I have carefully planned. The dogs I use are always Champions or Grand Champions from lines that "mesh" well with my girls and the direction I am trying to go with the breed. Much of what I aim for I have learned from several trips to England where Cavaliers began and where the dogs I most admire were bred. Some of these dogs live in the USA now and I am able to bring their lines into Artistree puppies. Also, on a special trip to England, I brought Spindlepoint Hope here from my dear friends Elaine and Ray Waddington. She represents for me what I most admire about this breed; petite and beautiful with the characteristic soft and gentle nature so profoundly important to the breed temperament. She was instantly my heart dog!
If you are interested in a puppy or an adult Cavalier, find out as much as you can about the breed. Go to a local dog show and watch dogs compete in Conformation, Agility and Obedience.
